Every neighborhood is anchored by the quality of its schools. The schools are good to the degree of the people who live there, the superintendent who runs the schools and the school board that represents the people. Of all the people I've met in KISD over the 27 years I've lived here, none exceed the talent or the dedication of Doug James. I have, do and will continue to support Doug as a Trustee for Klein ISD.

I encourage everyone to join with me to support and re-elect Doug James! I first met Doug in August of 2002 when I came to Klein as the director of the Education Foundation. I quickly realized that Doug truly cared for the students and staff of Klein. My favorite “Doug story” is a perfect example of this: Doug’s wife Ronda called him at work one day while she was volunteering at Nitsch Elementary School and told him she saw no men volunteering, there were no ‘father readers’ or PTO members. She asked him to come during his lunch hour to read to the students and he did! Next he was the president of the Nitsch PTO! As their children moved to Klein Intermediate and Klein Forest, Doug and Ronda followed as volunteers. You see, they truly and deeply care for the students and staff of Klein. Today you find Doug’s leadership skills, his compassion, talents, and his guidance in his service as a trustee on the Klein Board of Trustees.
Klein needs Doug James’ continued service and leadership on the Board. Please vote to re-elect Doug. Please encourage your friends and colleagues to do the same.
I encourage everyone living in Klein I.S.D. to get to know Doug James and to vote for him in the November 2021 school board election. He is a tremendous asset to the current team of 8 and wants the very best for all Klein I.S.D. students. Every single vote is important in keeping the positive momentum continuing in the district. Thank you!
